Homecoming connects NAU to the community as we welcome alumni to enjoy a week of campus events and activities. This year’s theme: Celebrate the Lumberjack Family.
“Homecoming is an exciting time for the Flagstaff community,” said Callie Lowe, vice president of Blue Key Honor Society. “We have a unique opportunity to connect the past to the present: our current students with a longstanding tradition. This year’s Homecoming theme emphasizes the importance of everyone, both current students and alumni, coming together for this event!”
NAU is celebrating 123 years as an institution, and Lumberjacks from near and far will return to their alma mater in Flagstaff for the festivities. With a variety of activities throughout the week, Lumberjacks of all ages are encouraged to participate.
“This year’s homecoming theme is Celebrating the Lumberjack Family. I cannot think of a better reason to come together as students, faculty, staff, alums, supporters and community members,” said Stephanie Smith, associate vice president of Alumni Engagement. “We sure do have a lot to celebrate this year! If this is your first year at NAU or your 20th year in Flagstaff, Homecoming is a fun time for all. I want to give a special shout-out to the Lumberjack students working creatively and thoughtfully to ensure we have the best Homecoming yet. And don’t forget to bring your roommate, friends, neighbors and family to the parade before cheering on the Jacks against Montana State!”
