NAU Athletics will kick off National Girls and Women in Sports Day by hosting a youth sports clinic at 3:15 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, in the Rolle Activity Center.
Student-athletes, coaches and staff will teach sport-specific skills, and participants will learn about healthy eating, strength and conditioning.
All participants will receive a T-shirt, nutritious snacks and free admission to the women’s basketball game against Montana at 5:30 that night in the Skydome. A free autograph session with select student-athletes will be held after the game.
The clinic is free for all children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Check-in begins at 2:45 p.m.
Spots are limited so registration online is encouraged.
