The NAU Art Museum and High Country Conference Center will display new art exhibits beginning next week.
NAU Art Museum
The NAU Art Museum will present “Enduring America: Selections from the Collection of Art and Peggy Hittner,” a historical exhibition featuring American painting and sculpture from the 1930s and 1940s, beginning April 7. An opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at the museum, and the show will be on display through May 29. The exhibition reflects the impulse among American artists to capture the strengths and values that shaped richly varied regional cultures.
The NAU Art Museum is open noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and closed all university holidays. This exhibit is free and open to the public with a suggested $2 per person donation. For information, visit nau.edu/artmuseum or call (928) 523-3471.
