The Northern Arizona University Art Museum is home to the 2014 School of Art Faculty Exhibition, providing an opportunity for members of the NAU faculty to demonstrate their works.
One of the most diverse offerings of the year, the exhibit features printmaking, painting, installations, ceramics and sculpture wrapped into a single show. The works also include a blend of styles, from abstract to realistic.
The show features the work of faculty Jason Bohnert, Jeriah Hildwine, Rachel Bomze, Jennifer Holt, Maureen Costa, C. Tanner Jensen, Debra Edgerton, Bruce Horn, Jason Hess, Nicole Jelsing, Dennis McGinnis, James O’Hara, Brian Painter, Steve Schaeffer, David Van Ness, Elisa Wiedeman and Julie Williams.
The exhibit provides a public venue for experiencing challenging, contemporary art across a wide variety of themes and media, said museum director George Speer.
The show runs through Feb. 22 at the NAU Art Museum in Old Main (bldg. 10). Museum hours are noon to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is free and open to the public with a suggested $2 per person donation.
Before 4:30 p.m., parking is available in the designated stalls in P4 and anywhere in P3 with a free guest parking pass available from the museum staff. Evening or day parking permits can be obtained online at nau.edu/parking.
