Northern Arizona University is paving the way for students to attend one of its many campuses serving Maricopa County.
During Connection Days, Feb. 23-25, NAU will hold transfer events promoting accessible and affordable degree programs offered throughout the Valley in conjunction with each of its 10 Maricopa Community College partners.
“Students can save money by staying close to home and earning an associate’s degree at a community college before transferring to a local NAU bachelor’s degree program,” said Doug Small, assistant dean for NAU’s Extended Campuses. “Many students are not aware of the many options they have to earn an NAU degree at a Maricopa campus.”
Connection Days will include on-site advisers, degree information and collaborative celebrations with music, prizes, raffles and more. Representatives from Undergraduate Admissions also will be on hand to discuss transfer options to the Flagstaff campus.
Connection Days promote the Maricopa County Community College District and Northern Arizona University “Connection”―a partnership to share instructors, classrooms, facilities and advising to streamline the transfer process to obtain degrees through NAU. Degree programs are offered at local Maricopa Community Colleges or online.
