An upcoming training series known as SPEAK (Sharing Professional Experience and Knowledge) focuses on tapping current university experts and practitioners to provide free systems-related training.
As a start, training topics will include university business processes, databases, reporting tools and types of data available to employees.
Each session will be offered as a classroom training first. The content and additional resources will then be moved to an online format that new and existing employees can access at any point in time that training is needed.
The first session in the series, “Where’s My Data?” will provide an overview of the many reports readily accessible to employees and departments, a brief introduction to Business Objects (where much data is stored) and the key resource offices for access to and help with finding and using the right NAU data.
This session will be offered at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 26 in the Health Professions (building 66), room 101. A complete description and details on registering is available on the Human Resources Training Opportunities page.
