The Arizona Board of Regents will be on campus for its Sept. 24-25 meeting at the High Country Conference Center.
The agenda includes continued discussion of university proposals for revising the Arizona University System architecture to increase the number of baccalaureate degrees and to offer lower-cost options for higher education.
The regents also will consider Northern Arizona University’s 2011-13 Capital Improvement Plan, which includes a new, privatized residence hall that would provide suite-style housing for about 560 upperclassmen.
Approval of fiscal year 2011 state operating budgets for the universities also is expected.
The ABOR agenda includes consideration of proposed revisions to board policies to comply with a recent change in Arizona law regarding weapons on university campuses.
The ABOR meeting is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday and from 10:15 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. on Friday.
