Three stylish films are bringing high fashion to the screen as part of the Cinema and Visual Culture Studies program’s Fashion Film Festival at Cline Library Assembly Hall on Saturday, Oct. 9.
The festival will screen films at 12:30 p.m., 3 and 7 p.m. Merchandising students will present two informal fashion shows before the 3 and 7 p.m. screenings, modeling vintage clothing and the latest styles for fall.
“We wanted to bring something lighter to the screen at Cline Library,” said Janna Jones, director of cinema and visual cultural studies. “It’s always spectacular to have fashion and film—two great art forms—together.”
All events are free.
