New York Times bestselling author Tom Woods will speak at a free public lecture on the issue of nullification, which has special relevance to Arizona as the state Senate recently considered whether to bring nullification of certain federal laws up for review before the whole Legislature.
Woods’ presentation takes place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, in the Cline Library Auditorium.
A senior fellow of the Ludwig von Mises Institute, Woods’ writing has appeared in dozens of popular and scholarly periodicals, including the American Historical Review, the Christian Science Monitor, Investor’s Business Daily, Catholic Historical Review, Modern Age, American Studies, Intercollegiate Review and Human Rights Review. Woods is co-editor of Exploring American History: From Colonial Times to 1877, an 11-volume encyclopedia.
