Teaching with iTunes U

Learn how to expand and enrich course curricula with digital content. Faculty panelists will demonstrate how they use iTunes U to distribute audio and video podcasts in their courses.
Using Digital Databases in Your Course
11:10-noon
Discover the latest resources available through Cline Library that make it easier than ever to incorporate music, videos and digital images into your courses. See how instructors are using ARTStor, with its more than 1 million digital images, music databases DRAM and NAXOS, and FMG Films on Demand.
Let’s Talk Online Evaluations
1-1:50 p.m.
Online evaluations allow students to give feedback about a course, including its content, structure and instruction. Panelists will review the pros and cons of the current online evaluations process, and also will address strategies for increasing student response rates.
Supporting In-Person Courses with Online Learning
1:50-3 p.m.
Providing materials and learning activities on Blackboard Vista can be a valuable way to supplement or replace in-person classes. Faculty will share their strategies for using online learning to make class times more effective and engaging.
