Horizon Concert Series returns with ‘Contemporary Crosscurrents’

The School of Music’s Horizons Concert Series returns for its spring season with a compilation of musical offerings for NAU and the Flagstaff community.

The series kicks off with contemporary music quartet loadbang at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, in Ashurst Auditorium. The New York City-based quartet will present dramatic works by Andy Akiho, Hannah Lash and Andy Kozar in a program entitled “Narratives.”

Future concerts include performances by Turtle Island Quartet, airmen musicians of the USAF Band and acclaimed pianist Jeffrey Swann. A full concert list is available online.

Individual tickets for the Horizons Concert Series are $20 for adults, $12.50 for seniors and NAU faculty and staff. Admission is free for children ages 17 and younger and NAU students with an ID. Tickets are available online and by calling (928) 523-5661 or (888) 520-7214.

Free parking will be available in Lot P3, P4 and P8.
