NAU Athletics annual Wine & Dine dinner, after-party shifts to virtual format

The Northern Arizona University Athletics’ annual Wine & Dine fundraiser to support Skyjacks and student-athlete scholarships will transition to a virtual format this year. All Lumberjack fans are invited to join the Wine & Dine Online event from 6-7:30 p.m. on Aug. 6.

The night, hosted by former NAU football player Joey Gatewood, will feature interactive segments with vice president for intercollegiate athletics Mike Marlow and NAU head coaches from various sports.

People interested in joining the event can purchase the Household Access package for $25. This is ideal for both locals and those not local to Flagstaff who still want to show support. An after-party will be held 10 minutes after the dinner concludes, but access is limited to the first 20 purchasers for an additional $25. This is an opportunity for attendees to ask questions to Marlow and the coaches.

Those who purchased a Meal Kit package (deadline to order passed) must pick up their orders Aug. 5 in Flagstaff. More details on times and locations of pick-up to come.

For the wine-tasting portion of the evening, a selected wine to pair with the meal can be purchased through Majestic Marketplace located at 601 E Piccadilly Drive, No. 95 in Flagstaff. Those outside of Flagstaff will be provided with suggested wine types prior to the event they can purchase at their store of choice.

All purchasers will receive instructions by email about how to join the Zoom event along with additional information regarding participation in the program and an auction. As a bonus, participants will receive an NAU-branded kitchen item that will be mailed to the purchaser.
