A book signing is scheduled for a new publication called Indidgenous Sovereignty in the 21st Century by Michael Lerma, assistant professor in the Department of Politics and International Affairs.

The book is an analysis of what sovereignty means to indigenous nations, challenging commonly held conceptions about the relationship between sovereignty and economic development.

The book signing will take place at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, at the Native American Cultural Center.
