A study-abroad trip to Prague this summer will take participants on an exploration of the cultures of central Europe with NAU adjunct faculty member and cultural anthropologist Daniela Penickova.

Penickova will lead the two-week trip from June 3-18 to study a variety of cultures and ethnic minorities of the European continent in the historical city of Prague, considered one of the true architectural and artistic jewels of Europe. Participants will explore art, music, dance and other cultural expressions in conjunction with politics and human rights.

The trip is open to all; students can earn up to six liberal studies credits. The cost is $2,988, and registration is due Friday, March 29.

An information session will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 28, at SBS West, room 9, or email Penickova for information.
