The 2021 inaugural Jacks on the Run Virtual 5k, hosted by Miss Arizona Collegiate United States Arianne Yago, will take place the week of March 15-19. Yago, an alumna who works in NAU ITS, created the run to support and raise money for the A. Yago Scholarship Fund, which will benefit first-generation college students at Northern Arizona University.
Registration is required, and the entry fee is $35. The fee is a donation to the scholarship and includes a promotional T-shirt (free shipping to the United States) and bag. Participants are encouraged to invite friends, wear their race gear and share pictures on social media using hashtags #jacksontherun, #missazcollegiateus and tag @missazcollegiateus on Facebook and Instagram.
Every runner will be entered to win First-Generation Apple Airpods, and additional award categories such as most social shares and most miles run or walked, also will receive prizes.
