The Northern Arizona University Information Technology Services has updates to the My NAU Community portal and Blackboard Learn. See below for the latest information.
Nov. 2: My NAU Community portal (my.nau.edu)
The My NAU portal will be transitioning to a web version of LOUIEgo. In the interim, NAU ITS encourages you to use these resources:
- Lumberjack Resources page
- LOUIEgo
- My-old.nau.edu(for Email Manager and Enterprise Groups)
Nov. 5: Blackboard Learn
Blackboard Learn will be updating the content editor used throughout the application to make adding content simple and more functional on mobile devices and larger screens. Other functions of this update include:
- Importing files from your personal device and cloud storage
- Improved accessibility
- Better copy and paste from Word and Excel
- Display of computer code
- Adding multiple files of different types

December: Blackboard Collaborate Ultra and Zoom
NAU ITS will begin the first deletion cycle of NAU’s Blackboard Collaborate Ultra and Zoom cloud recordings. There will be two deletion cycles a year, once in the middle of the year and once at the end. During deletion cycles, recordings older than three major terms—fall and spring—will be deleted.
As part of the first deletion cycle, recordings before May 15, 2019, will be permanently deleted. To manage or download recordings, view the articles below:
