With a goal set to raise $15,000, Northern Arizona University’s physical therapy department is hosting its 11th annual Go Big for Parkinson’s Walk/Run beginning at 9 a.m. on Oct. 14, at the NAU Health Professions Building, 208 E. Pine Knoll Drive.
The Flagstaff community is encouraged to come out and enjoy the day in hopes of bringing awareness and help to people with Parkinson’s disease in Arizona.
Cost to participate will be $25 for the 10K run and $10 for the 2K or 5K run or walk. A silent auction will be held after the event. Proceeds from the race will benefit the American Parkinson’s Disease Association.
Register for the event online.
