From handbells to singing, NAU Winter Festival of Choirs to deliver diverse performance

Harold M. Harter Memorial Handbell Choir

About 170 Northern Arizona University musicians will perform during the NAU Winter Festival of Choirs at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at Ardrey Memorial Auditorium.

The concert features the Harold M. Harter Memorial Handbell Choir, Joanna Richards, bellmaster; Men’s Chorale, Matthew Myers, conductor; University Singers, Benjamin Westphal, conductor; and Women’s Chorale, Ryan Holder, conductor and Jason Raetz, graduate assistant. Music ranges from Bach and Schubert to traditional South African pieces.

Tickets are $13 for adults; $10 for seniors, and NAU faculty and staff; and free for students with ID, although a ticket is required. Tickets may be purchased at NAU’s Central Ticket Office or by calling (928) 523-5661. Free parking is available in Lot P13, adjacent to the Performing and Fine Arts Building and Cline Library.
