Former Army interrogator to speak at NAU about consequences of torture

WHAT: Eric Fair, a former U.S. Army translator and interrogator at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq and author of “Consequence: A Memoir,” will discuss “War, Torture, and Consequence” in honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Fair will be interviewed by Bjorn Krondorfer, director of the Martin-Springer Institute at Northern Arizona University, and Julie Piering, a professor of philosophy. A question-and-answer session will follow the event.

Tickets, which are required for the event, are $10 for the general public. Tickets can be purchased online, at the NAU Central Ticket Office in the University Union or by calling (928) 523-5661. Students and staff of NAU and Coconino Community College can get a free ticket with their IDs.
