Employee Development Day moves to a multi-day online format

Employee Development Day at Northern Arizona University is back for the summer, but will be presented in a new online format. Instead of one day, opportunities for professional development and training workshops will be offered virtually throughout the month of May and into the first week of June.

The developmental days offered through NAU’s Human Resources are meant for employees to enhance and expand current skills, engage employees in the development of a positive organizational culture at the university and further develop personal and professional interests.

Workshops cover a variety of topics including virtual leadership, mental health, protecting identity and data, and strategies for adapting to the changing world. Workshops conclude at 10 a.m. on June 2 with a session focused on creating workshop proposals.

For the complete employee development schedule, visit the Learning and Development page on the NAU Human Resources website. Registration is required for each class and is done through the Zoom link provided. Click the session of interest for more details. Questions can be directed to assistant director of learning and development Cassie Petit by emailing Cassie.Petit@nau.edu or calling (928) 523-9338.
