The NAU choirs will open their concert season at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, with the annual Fall Festival of Choirs. The performance will be held in the Ardrey Memorial Auditorium, and the choirs performing will be the Harold M. Harter Memorial Handbell Choir, Men’s Chorale, University Singers, Women’s Chorale and the Shrine of the Ages Choir.
Enjoy traditional choral works by Dvorak and Bruchner, multi-cultural songs from Zimbabwe, Haiti, Bulgaria and India, and contemporary works, including a Women’s Chorale premiere by Timothy Takach, a barbershop favorite by the Men’s Chorale and rhythmic spirituals by three of the choirs.
