The second annual Technology Summit, sponsored by Northern Arizona University’s Human Resources and Information Technology Services, will be a two-week virtual event starting Feb. 22 and ending March 5. The summit offers NAU faculty and staff opportunities to learn and discuss how to maximize the technologies available to ensure the campus community feels included and engaged in the work being done for students.
Multiple sessions are available each day and cover a variety of topics ranging from creating a better user experience through Microsoft Teams to enterprise reporting and much more. To see the full schedule of sessions available, visit the Class Sessions webpage.
Participants who attend five or more sessions are eligible to receive the Technology Summit 2021 badge. Badges are digital icons that signify a mastered skill or the completion of a project. They serve as a physical representation that can be shared on social media and resumés to showcase skills. More information about the badge program can be found on HR’s Learning and Development webpage.
Registration for the summit is required. To select sessions, go to the Technology Summit 2021 Registration webpage, select sessions of interest and scroll to the bottom to “Complete Registration.” Registration closes at 5 p.m. on Feb. 18.
