Volunteers are needed for both Spring Commencement ceremonies on May 6th and 7th and the Celebration for Virtual Graduates on May 14th.
Commencement Volunteers needed for May 6th and 7th
Volunteers will assist with:
- Handing out programs
- Providing directions to guests (inside and out)
- Shooting streamer cannons (a favorite)
- Handing out license plate frames
- Cleaning up streamers and re-setting name reader cards/pencils
Volunteers will be needed for approximately 4 hours per ceremony.
Lunch will be provided if volunteers stay for both commencements on the same day.

Celebration for Virtual Graduates needs both marshals and volunteers for May 14th
Marshals will assist with:
- Helping graduates find seats
- Letting graduates know when it is time to line up to walk on stage
- Assist on stage with handing our scrolls
- Assist graduates in getting re-seated after walking on stage
- Give directions for graduates to exit
- General clean up after the event
Volunteers will assist with:
- Providing directions to guests (inside and out)
- Monitoring stairwells and elevators
- Keeping ADA areas accessible
- Shooting streamer cannons
- General clean up after the event
Time commitment is approximately 5 hours (8:30am – 1:30pm) and includes a pre-reception celebrating all who helped make this happen!
