Several campus services will observe special schedules during the remainder of December and the university winter closure.
The university will close Dec. 25 through Jan. 3. The official paid holidays are Dec. 25, 28 and Jan. 1. NAU also will be closed on Dec. 29-31, but these are not paid holidays. Information on documenting employee time off during the holiday break is on the Human Resources web site.
Central Postal Services will be closed Dec. 25-28 and Jan. 1. The office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Dec. 29-31 with limited services. All departments may pick up incoming mail and drop off outgoing mail during these times. Regular mail delivery to departments will not be done during the winter closure. If a department needs mail delivery during this time, notify Susan Maestas, manager of Postal Services, by Monday, Dec. 14.
Campus Recreation Services will operate with adjusted hours Dec. 14 through Jan. 18. The recreation center will be closed Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1 and weekends Dec. 19 through Jan. 16. For a complete schedule of operating hours, click here. The Wall Aquatic Center will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 14-18 and Jan. 4-15. The WAC will be closed Dec. 19 through Jan. 3.
The NAU Bookstore will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. most days from Dec. 24 through Jan. 8. The store will be closed Dec. 25-27 and Jan. 1-3. For a detailed schedule, visit the bookstore’s website.
Cline Library will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21 through Thursday, Dec. 24. The library will be closed Friday, Dec. 25 through Saturday, Jan. 3. For a detailed schedule, visit the library’s website.
