As NAU’s first Supervisor Academy class celebrates completion of the program, Human Resources is accepting applications from faculty and staff for its next class, set to begin Oct. 14.
Launched in the spring, the academy consists of weekly two-hour sessions that build skills in leadership, human resource management, communication, coaching and team building. Participants must complete 12 classes, including seven leadership courses and five electives, to earn a certificate and graduate from the program.
The fall session is open to 40 employees and applications are available online. Applicants’ immediate supervisors must approve acceptance into the academy.
