Bridget Barker, Rep. Tom O’Halleran of Arizona’s District 1 and Heather Mead at Posters on the Hill. Heather Mead was in Washington, D.C., as one of 60 undergraduate students nationwide to take part in Posters on the Hill. Mead is NAU’s fourth PoH presenter since 2014. Mead’s mentor for her “Investigating Differential Expression Utilized during the Fungal Morphogenesis of the Attenuated Strain of Coccidioides posadasii” project is Bridget Barker, who also attended the event. They met with congressional representatives during the visit as well.
