- Ph.D. student Romy Ghanem recently received the prestigious Language Learning Dissertation Grant for her work in the field of applied linguistics. Additionally, Ghanem received the 2016 Most Promising Graduate Student Researcher Award and the 2016 best Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) Award.
- Grace Novak, a senior theatre performance major at Northern Arizona University, has been nominated for a 2017 Emerging Artist Viola Award. Novak “has distinguished herself over the last four years as an actor” notes the nomination. Viola Awards reward and celebrate excellence in the arts and sciences in Flagstaff. Read more online.
