  • Olivia Lucero was named the Big Sky Player of the Week and received Big Sky Player of the Week honors from College Sports Madness. She is the first Lumberjack women’s basketball player to earn Player of the Week honors from the Big Sky conference office in almost three years.
  • Dylan Thomas (B.S. Chemistry, 2017) was selected for an Undergraduate Research Presentation award at the Rocky Mountain Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society held in Loveland, Colorado, from Oct. 25-27. His presentation on “Cellular Toxicity Associated with Triterpene Production in an Escherichia coli Heterologous Host” was one of five selected from more than 70 entrants, and it described the work he completed as an undergraduate in Andy Koppisch’s research team. Thomas is now pursuing a doctorate in chemistry with an emphasis on renewable fuels at the Colorado School of Mines.

  • Senior wide receiver Elijah Marks was recognized as an Associated Press FCS All-America Second Team selection and became the 133rd Lumberjack to be honoredwith this status. He ranked fourth among FCS national leaders with 117.0 receiving yards per game and seventh in receptions per contest at 7.1.
