Northern Arizona University saw 5 percent overall enrollment growth for the spring semester over the same period last year, marking nine consecutive years of record-setting enrollment for both spring and fall semesters.
NAU’s total student population this spring is at 25,590 up from 24,407 in the spring of 2014. The student population in Flagstaff is 18,712 with 4,228 online students, 504 at NAU-Yuma and 2,146 on the community campuses.
NAU’s overall enrollment dipped from 27,715 last fall, an annual trend in higher education.
The undergraduate population of 21,969 is more than the 20,743 enrolled in spring 2014. While the overall graduate enrollment dipped, current graduate students are taking more credit hours than before.
