  • Stefan Somer, research assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, and Jut Wynne, Colorado Plateau Biodiversity Center, are co-authors of “Disturbance Relicts in a Rapidly Changing World: The Rapa Nui (Easter Island) Factor,” published online in BioScience. In May, Wynne discussed the research in an NAU-TV interview.
  • R. Scott Anderson, professor of quaternary and environmental sciences in the School of Earth Sciences and Environmental Sustainability, is a co-author of “Ecological Change on California’s Channel Islands from the Pleistocene to the Anthropocene,” published online in BioScience.
  • NAU-TV received a College Sports Media honorable mention recognition by the Sports Video Group and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics. NAU was recognized in the collegiate student category of live game and event production for the broadcast of the football game NAU vs. Northern Colorado.
