  • Shepardson Book CoverBritton Shepardson, anthropology lecturer, recently published a book, titled MOAI: A New Look at Old Faces. The book is a combination of research chapters, photographs and vignettes taken from Shepardson’s personal journal after 13 trips spanning more than two years’ time to Easter Island over the last 14 years. He shares a database of more than 700 statues to offer a startling new look at their role in prehistory and challenge the notion of island-wide catastrophic collapse.
