  • Alumna Vanessa Delgado was named director of Eastern Washington University’s Multicultural Center. Delgado received her master’s in mental health counseling from NAU.
  • Emily Lawhead received a grant from the Japan-United States Friendship Commission to support her exhibition of Yasuaki Onishi’s work at the Coconino Center for the Arts during the spring and summer of 2018. Lawhead is a graduate student in museum studies at the University of San Francisco.
  • Seamus Dever, class of 1997, has been cast in an unnamed recurring role in the TV show “Titans.” Dever previously starred in “Castle” on ABC.
  • Brock Lefferts was recently interviewed by the Phoenix New Times about his band, A Cloud for Climbing, which he started in 2007 from his NAU dorm room. A Cloud for Climbing recently opened for TV Girl at The Rebel Lounge in Phoenix.
  • Former NHL player and NAU alumnus Greg Adams has joined a fishing retreat featuring former NHL players. The four-day retreat in Haida Gwaii, British Columbia, includes fully guided fishing, one-on-one time with the players and opportunities to raise money for youth hockey.
  • Quentin Oliver Lee joined the touring production of “The Phantom of the Opera” as the Phantom. Lee graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2012 with a bachelor’s of music in vocal performance.
