SPAC looking for NAU employees to help provide Christmas gifts for local families

Christmas presents

The Service Professional Advisory Council (SPAC) at Northern Arizona University is sponsoring two families for the holidays.

SPAC president Cassie Petit, the learning and development manager for NAU’s Human Resources, said the service project was so popular last year they decided to adopt two families through St. Vincent de Paul this year.

Children of the two families range in age from 11 to 17 and hope to receive gift cards, Green Bay Packers gear, school supplies, stuffed animals and more.

Employees can see the wish list and sign up online for gifts they want to donate. Gifts can be taken to HR (Bldg. 91) before Dec. 21. SPAC members will wrap the gifts at the next meeting, which is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Dec. 21 in the large pod of the Applied Research and Development building (Bldg. 56).
