Sow the seeds of success at NAU’s annual employee mixer

NAU Employees are encouraged to come out for an afternoon of good food, mingling and friendly competition at the 2009 Employee Appreciation Mixer from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, in the du Bois Center Ballroom.

Presented by the Classified Staff Advisory Council, the 15th annual mixer’s theme is “Sowing the Seeds of Success.” Classified staff, service professionals, faculty and administrators are invited to attend.

Departments, schools and colleges are invited to reserve a table to showcase their unit’s activities. Each display will be judged on matching the mixer theme, visual presentation, uniqueness and creativity. This year there will be a popular vote for best table and a vote by the planning committee’s guest panel of judges, including Sarah Bickel, associate vice president of Student Affairs; David Bousquet, vice president of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs; Rich Bowen, associate vice president of Economic Development; Dan Kain, dean of the College of Education, and Ron Pitt, associate provost.

“The annual mixer is not only an opportunity to show appreciation for the dedication of our employees, it also allows for some departmental interaction,” said Patricia Johnson, administrative associate for the School of Communication and member of Classified Staff Advisory Council’s Communication, Events and Fundraising Committee. “The departments that have participated in years past have really valued this interaction.”

Table reservations must be made by March 3. Download the attached form to reserve your table now. For questions, contact Mary Delfino-Debold at (928) 523-7464.
