Sharpen your culinary skills and wake up your taste buds this summer by enrolling in courses offered by Northern Arizona University’s School of Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Gain insight into recent trends and appreciation for various cheeses through discussion and tasting in Introduction to Cheese. Coffee Basics explores various traditions, practices and methods in regions around the world, with discussion and sampling to teach participants to distinguish and differentiate the flavors of coffee.
Join Mark Molinaro in the J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation Demonstration Kitchen for the Commercial Food Service Operations class and learn to prepare various dishes including soups, pasta and more. Molinaro, a lecturer with the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management, is a professional chef with more than two decades of experience with the New England Culinary Institute, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
While the classes are only open to Hotel and Restaurant Management students in the spring and fall, the summer offering is open to majors and non-majors alike.
