Regents to meet next week in Flagstaff

NAU President John Haeger will discuss the university’s strategic plan and the resources needed to accomplish the overarching goals of the Arizona Board of Regents 2020 Vision during the board’s regularly scheduled public meeting next week in Flagstaff.

The meeting is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 16, and from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 17, at NAU’s High Country Conference Center.

The board will review capital development plans for all three state universities, including a proposal for construction of a new parking structure on the Flagstaff campus.

Also under consideration are proposals for multiple-year employment contracts for several athletic coaches at all three universities.

A changing of the guard will take place as new board officers assume their roles, with chair Anne Mariucci turning the gavel over to chair-elect Fred DuVal.

A live web stream of the meeting will be available online.
