Regents to meet in Flagstaff

The Arizona Board of Regents will meet at the High Country Conference Center on campus Thursday and Friday to consider a variety of matters, including:

  • a discussion of revising the Arizona University System architecture to achieve the state’s goal of dramatically increasing the number of bachelor’s degrees.
  • a report on the outcomes of a two-year effort to improve and expand learner-centered education in the university system
  • a discussion of university research
  • approval of contracts for NAU President John Haeger and head football coach Jerome Souers
  • project implementation of NAU’s health and wellness center

The regents are scheduled to meet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Friday.
