Excitement is in the air, and it is time to begin the new academic year. Whether you’re a returning student or just starting your journey at NAU, there is no better time to be a part of the Lumberjack family.
Each day represents the opportunity to learn about yourself and connect with those around you through the ideas and experience you bring. You will gain insight and skills in your field of study, and many resources exist to support you on this path. Take advantage of the services we offer, and don’t hesitate to ask for help.
Some of you are leaders on campus, with experience and knowledge. I hope you will be our ambassadors in the community, mentor and guide our new students and show everyone why we are proud to be Lumberjacks.
NAU is where you will set the foundation for the rest of your life. This is the time you will find your direction, or make progress on the course you’ve already set. Live these years fully and keep your long-term goals in mind.
Now settle in, explore your surroundings and get involved in student organizations and activities.
