A web-based weather camera mounted on top of the Skydome at Northern Arizona University will now provide images of Flagstaff’s weather to Phoenix television stations.
The HD images will be incorporated into weather programming on Phoenix’s AZ Family (Channel 3) and KPHO (Channel 5). A live stream of the webcam can be viewed on the Weatherbug website and the AZ Family and KPHO websites.
From atop the Skydome, the webcam showcases a north facing view of NAU’s campus and the San Francisco Peaks and will be rotated on occasion by the meteorologists to show different views of the campus and surrounding community.
