Pauline Entin, professor of Exercise Science in Biological Sciences and associate dean of Academic Affairs for the College of Engineering Forestry and Natural Sciences, has been named vice provost for Academic Affairs. Her appointment became effective this week.
Provost Laura Huenneke announced the decision after an internal search identified two candidates, who appeared at open forums in mid-June.
A background in administration and a long-standing commitment to the education and research missions of the university provide Entin with a strong foundation for her new role.
“Pauline Entin is deeply familiar with curriculum development and strategies for assessing and improving educational programs, recently participating in the ABET accreditation process for engineering programs,” said Huenneke. “I am looking forward to working with her and being able to draw on her thorough, thoughtful approaches and her strong dedication to our students, faculty and staff.”
