Regents’ professor and executive director of NAU’s Pathogen and Microbiome Institute Paul Keim will be featured on the CNN series “How It Really Happened” on Sunday, May 5.
The episode, titled “Anthrax: Terror by Mail,” will focus on the biological attacks conducted by mail shortly after the Sept. 11 terror attacks that used anthrax bacteria as a weapon.
Keim’s work in the wake of these attacks was instrumental to the investigation, helping to identify the source of the bacteria and put investigators on track toward finding a suspect.
