Parking permits for the 2011-12 academic year are now available for purchase online. Benefit-eligible faculty and staff can sign up for payroll deduction to have the price deducted over five or ten pay periods or the academic year.
Employee passes are $380, an increase of $30 over last year. The rate for the central campus garage also has increased to $485, which is $35 more than last year.
The rate increase will help fund the construction of a new parking garage on San Francisco Street. Parking fees also fund shuttle services, parking lot maintenance, motorist assistance and maintenance of the central campus garage.
Those seeking an economical and ecofriendly way to get to work may take advantage of the free ecoPASS program, which allows NAU employees to ride Mountain Line buses at no charge. The 2011-12 ecoPASS currently is available at Parking Services.
Faculty, staff and students should order their 2011-12 parking permits by Aug. 15. Parking Services will begin mailing permits purchased online in July.
