There is still time to order Independence Day-themed T-shirts and represent Northern Arizona University in the annual Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce Independence Day Parade at 9 a.m. Monday, July 4, through downtown Flagstaff.
Theme T-shirts can be ordered for $6 through Tina.M.Dangelo@nau.edu by June 15.
NAU President John Haeger will kick off the university’s entry in the lead car, and faculty, staff, students, alumni and family members are invited to join along by walking, biking, skating or pushing strollers.
University representatives will be distributing giveaways along the parade route and carrying their academic and department banners. To include departmental marketing materials in an NAU Bookstore bag, email John.Shewmaker@nau.edu or call (928) 523-6682 prior to June 27.
Those participating with the NAU entry should meet by 8:30 a.m. at Staging Area B on Sullivan between Beaver and Leroux. The parade begins promptly at 9 a.m.
