It has been a little over a year since NAU’s Information Technology Services purchased a campus-wide license to Lynda.com for all students, faculty and staff. This week the ITS Learning and Professional Development team released an infograph at right to update the campus on how the NAU community is using their Lynda.com subscription, and to help spread the word about the resource.
By logging into nau.edu/lynda, faculty, staff and students have access to the entire Lynda.com library, which contains more than 2,290 training videos from recognized industry experts on a broad range of subjects—from how-to resources on popular software packages like Abode CS6, Microsoft Office and Blackboard Learn, to general courses on photography, graphic design and other critical 21st century skills.
All of these courses include course exercise files that allow users to follow along with the instructor as they learn and certificates of completion that can be included in a professional portfolio.
