NAU President John Haeger, center, was joined by Kathleen Knapp, a project manager from the Arizona Department of Transportation, and Flagstaff Mayor Joe Donaldson to cut the ceremonial ribbon in dedication of the new pedway that now runs along San Francisco Street, connecting the west spine of the NAU campus with the Flagstaff Urban Trail System.
“It’s another great project that demonstrates the one community between NAU and Flagstaff,” Donaldson said.
Knapp called it a “real community effort.”
