Northern Arizona University shared the top spot in the Big Sky Conference with an NCAA Graduation Success Rate of 84, according to a recently released national report. NAU’s rate also matched the highest number posted among the three Regents institutions in Arizona.
“I am continually inspired by the dedication, hard work, and ability to achieve outstanding results demonstrated by our students,” said NAU President Rita Cheng. “Student success is at the heart of all we do as an institution, and I am extremely proud of all those who helped make this achievement possible.”
Three teams posted a 100 percent graduation success rate for NAU. Women’s golf and women’s tennis received perfect marks for the second straight year, while women’s soccer increased by nine percent to earn a rate of 100.
The NCAA developed the GSR for Division I institutions in 2002 in response to college and university presidents who wanted more accurate graduation data.
