NAU Athletics reaches out to Hopi school children

NAU coaches traveled to the Hopi Reservation last week to conduct a clinic for nearly 300 students from First Mesa Elementary School and Hopi Day School.

“It’s not only about athletics but the greater mission of the university,” said Lisa Campos, vice president for Intercollegiate Athletics. “Hopefully some of these students will become Lumberjacks.”
