The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for the closure of McConnell Drive at Interstate 17/State Route 89A in Flagstaff for paving.
The work is scheduled from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4.
ADOT reminds drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the following restrictions are in place:
- McConnell Drive will be closed between Pine Knoll Drive and Beulah Avenue. Interstate 17 on- and off-ramps at McConnell Drive will also be closed.
- DETOUR: Drivers wanting to go east on McConnell Drive can exit SR 89A at University Drive to Knoles Drive to access McConnell Drive. Drivers wanting to go west on McConnell Drive can exit SR 89A at Forest Meadows Street or Lake Mary Road to Beulah Avenue to access McConnell Drive.
