Marketing refreshes university advertising campaign

transitional advertising

A “transitional” advertising campaign is being rolled out by Northern Arizona University’s Marketing Department and is slated to run across various media until the department launches the university’s new branding campaign in July.

“The campaign emphasizes the strong professor-student connection that makes NAU’s academic experience unique,” explained Sandra Kowalski, director of the Marketing Department. She said the ads combine a professor’s point of view with a student’s point of view “to demonstrate their two voices coming together.”

The first placement—a large banner located in Terminal 4 at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport—was installed in early February. The location receives an estimated 1.1 million views annually, Kowalski said.
