NAU has experienced a higher than normal volume of computer “malware” and virus incidents in recent weeks. These incidents disguise themselves as legitimate-looking security update screens.
Computer users are being fooled into accepting “updates” that actually infect their systems. ITS is working to resolve and prevent further incidents of this nature.
